Bighorn Lake

Bighorn Lake is located in northern Wyoming, along the border with Montana. It was created by the construction of the Yellowtail Dam on the Bighorn River in the 1960s. The lake is approximately 70 miles long and offers a variety of recreational activities such as boating, fishing, camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area surrounds the lake, providing visitors with scenic vistas, historic sites, and cultural resources.
